Quest guide: becoming a Merchant

Join the Merchant Association, pay the fee, and complete a delivery with an assigned destination and serial number.

Before you start

  • Novice with Job Level 10.
  • All Basic Skills learned.
  • A 1,000 Zeny membership fee, payable as two 500 Zeny payments.

    Apply and pay the fee

    Talk to Chief Mahnsoo. You can pay 1,000 Zeny immediately, or 500 Zeny at registration and 500 after the test.

    Collect the package

    Collect the package from the Merchant Association storehouse. The game assigns you a destination and serial number.

    Deliver the package

    Follow the assigned destination: it can be the former Swordman Association in Prontera, the Mage Guild in Geffen, or Morocc. Deliver to the specified recipient and provide the exact serial number.

  4. 4

    Return to Alberta

    After delivery, return to Chief Mahnsoo, pay the remaining fee if needed, and receive the Merchant Guild License to complete the job change.
