• [Thierry] What?! It's just what I thought! They were just using me this whole time...! Still, I can't leave this place just yet... I can't...

• [Thierry] I guess it all started when Euslan contracted that weird disease. None of the doctors knew what it was, none of them could do anything about it. It was totally devastating...

• [Thierry] Finally, I took her to see Mawong, who told us that he actually met someone that had that disease, and that there was a way for me to cure it. I had to take my chances...

• [Thierry] Mawong told me that the cure was somewhere near the Odin Shrine in Hugel. As you already know, this place is incredibly dangerous. But I don't care. I'll do anything for Euslan.

• [Thierry] Of course, I only told Euslan that I'd be looking around the Schwarzwald Republic... If she knew I was at the Odin Shrine, she'd worry too much about me.

• [Thierry] Once I got here, I didn't know what to do, or what I was even looking for. Then, I ran into these strange men, and told them my story out of my frustration over my situation.

• [Thierry] It seemed like a miracle when they said that they knew how to cure Euslan. They told me that they were a research team working on a project related to my dilemna.

• [Thierry] I didn't even think twice about it: I immediately accepted their offer to join them. I did whatever research they asked while I searched for Euslan's cure...

• [Thierry] Later, I overheard them talking, and I learned that they were really Rekenber Corporation agents. Their project had nothing to do with medicine or my Euslan...

• [Thierry] Their true goal is to improve their guardian technology by finding the remains of some giant beneath the Odin Shrine. Still, working with them gave me access to so many resources.

• [Thierry] I've actually been able to find a cure for Euslan's illness through my research with those men, so I can't quit now. I still need to make that medicine for Euslan!

• [Thierry] So, behind their backs, I've been using their guardians to gather the ingredients needed for my fiancee's medicine. But if they're planning to get rid of me, I've just run out of time.
