[Meteurengut] Ah. Your body is surrounded by the glow of one that has eaten of the Awakening Stone. That alone may prove your value as an adventurer, but are you free from your selfish desires?
[Meteurengut] Even just the smallest taint of greed or jealousy can prove to be a corruptive influence when power is not tempered by wisdom and a sense of true compassion.
[Meteurengut] Others like you have come before me in hopes of learning about the Slate of Muriniel and eventually obtaining one of the three accursed blades. You are probably no different from them...
[Meteurengut] The Slate of Muriniel is an alchemic artifact that can help one access unimaginable power, originally developed by a master of alchemy that was known as Rikaseh Sumarecon.
[Meteurengut] Sumarecon had two apprentices, and after he had passed down the secrets of the Slate of Muriniel to only one of his proteges, his other protege killed him and the other student out of jealousy.
[Meteurengut] Sumarecon's secrets were thought to be lost forever... Fortunately, years later, an Alchemist named Kuprite found Sumarecon's secret documents containing his knowledge.
[Meteurengut] Kuprite then taught these secrets to a select group of Alchemy students, one of which was my ancestor, Burukesaemu. And so, because of my lineage, I have learned those secrets.
[Meteurengut] If you wish for me to reproduce the Slate of Muriniel for you, then please bring me the items I require to complete the secret alchemic procedure.
[Meteurengut] You've already found all of the items I require to create the Slate of Muriniel? Fantastic. Now I can begin work on this. However, there is one more thing I must ask of you.
[Meteurengut] Would you please bring me ^3355FF1 Cobweb^000000? You can obtain them by slaying spiders in Muriniel Pass which is on the way to Al De Baran from here.
[Meteurengut] I'd have asked for it sooner, but I need to prepare all of these stones, and I need the freshest Cobwebs I can get. I'll make sure that these stones are ready when you return.
