Prove your will to Father Mareusis and complete one randomly assigned penance trial.

Talk to Father Mareusis
In the Prontera Sanctuary, choose to become an Acolyte. The guild randomly assigns one of three ascetics.

Complete the penance
Visit the assigned ascetic and talk to them until the trial is complete. The route may lead to Father Rubalkabara at the north-eastern relics, Mother Mathilda south-west of Morocc, or Father Yosuke north-west of Prontera.

Return to the Sanctuary
Return to Father Mareusis after completing the penance: he verifies the trial and completes the job change.
